Thigh's the Limit
Oh come on Chris B! I know art and craft and serious workmanship go into making beautiful footwear for the ladies. Us women feel a million dollars when we step out in style wearing a bad arse pair of shoes or boots. But can't you make boots for £39.99; just one day of the year - just for me?
I purchased a beautiful pair of thigh high boots just like these in Camden Market for £40. Ok, the stitching's a bit off and there's a distinct lack of quality in the workmanship, but when you weigh up £40 against £1,295 it's hard to make the justification to the bank manager.
When Mr Bank Manager says to me why such an eractic bank account Miss Mayfield, I want to be able to say "Mr Bank Manager, it's because I had to pay for my grandma's new hip". I really don't want to tell him that I spent a thousand odd pounds on a pair of boots!
