Kurt Geiger - Men's Birkenstocks

Show us your toes... if you must!

It's summertime, so everyone feels the need to strip down to bare necessities. This I can understand. I can also understand a mans love for footwear. After all, being mad about shoes isn't a law for females with nothing better to think about (don't look at me, I'm crazy). BUT, I have mixed feelings about men in sandals and flip-flops. I truly understand the need for men to get in touch with their feminine side considering these types of shoes are worn predominately by women, but as time has gone on, more and more men have become fashionable enough and brave enough to show their naked feet in sandals.

My concerns about men in lady-shoes are (A) Men with manicured toes; and (B) Men with toes that look like spuds.

(A) Men with manicured toes appear vain and who wants a vain man? Not me! I mean... where will it end? Will it end at clear varnish? Red painted toes? A French manicure? Air-brushing and diamante stones?

and;

(B) Men with toes that look like King Edward potatoes are a no-no! I've seen toe-nails that look like tortoise shells. Not-a-good-look gents. NOT A GOOD LOOK.

So as you already know men, you don't win. What a surprise!!

I think men in sandals are incredibly sexy. As long as they get their toes just right. No nail polish and no turtle toes ;o)
