Have You Got the Winter Blues?

If not, why not?

Topshop's suede ankle boots are a gorgeous shade of blue.

Hot Metal

Christian Louboutin's high shine silver wedges are a real work of art. The intricate detail on the heel makes them that little bit more beautiful than the run of the mill wedge heel.

Man oh Man

Salvatore Ferragamo wasn't playing when he created these royal blue suede and coffee alligator shoes.

Apparently, they say never buy your man shoes, he’ll always walk away from the relationship while wearing them. That’s a right old wives tale if ever I heard one. Men are always walking away from me in their own shoes, boots, trainers and even flip-flops sometimes. Maybe I ought to go anti-wives tale and buy them shoes. Maybe they’d stay!

Matalan Metallics

These fabulous high heeled shoes look as good as a pair of £600 designer shoes but we don't want to spend that kind of money during this "economic down-turn" of ours now do we? Nope... I surely don't.

Matalan have done it again with these silver metallic shoes.

Great bargain at £14!

Hot Steppers

These black Yves Saint Laurent patent leather pumps are the bomb! With their rubber edge and yellow lining. I want a pair of these for Christmas.

You've Got to have Faith

Animal print doesn't seem to be going away any time soon.

Faith purse, £40

As far as Faith are concerned, not only do you need the shoes, but you need the matching handbag too, so go for it.

Party over here, party over there!

I guess some of us are getting ready for the party season. Christmas (spit, spit) is just around the corner and we're all - well some of us - are getting ready for parties from morning, noon and night.

These shoes from Betsey Johnson are right up my street.

A Little Bit of Comfort

Scholls Party Feet are designed for women who wear "sit down" shoes all night long. We know our four inch heels are designed for stepping out of the house, getting into the cab, walking 7 steps to the restaurant and then sitting down all night until it's time to go home. But oh no, we insist on raving in heels ALL NIGHT LONG.

Well Scholl have the answer. "Party Feet". These insoles are designed to make the experience of standing, walking around and dancing all night long a touch more comfortable.

You pop these gel insoles into your shoes and they add a cushion between your feet and your shoes to make standing in heels a little bit more bareable.

They're not magic, but they certainly give you an extra hour or two before taking off your heels and walking out of the club bare-foot!

Carvela or Primark... you decide!

These stacked heels go for £65 in Carvela.

Having said that, they go for £12 in Primark, so it all depends on whether or not the credit crunch is creeping up into your shoe shopping budget or not!

Kings for Queens and Princesses

These boots go by the name of Kings. The variety of colours are just perfect for the gloomy winter months.

A Touch of Class

I really like these shoes for two reasons, they look good and they're quite inexpensive but not cheap looking.

You'll find these at Matalan for £12. How fab is that?

Stud Muffin

These are some pretty serious shoes or are they boots? Maybe they’re shoots.

Gucci have named these shoe boots 'Babouska'. These fabulous high heeled open-toed shoots come to life with decorative studs.

Arsenic & Old Lace

Sophistication personified.

There's something about lace that adds a touch of class. Apart from lace curtains. They're reminiscent of old ladies and peeping-Toms. But lace gloves and lace handbags add a touch of sophistication to an outfit.

I have a weakness for shoes. Do you?

Christian Louboutin

You can't go wrong with a bit of animal print; but don't go wild with the animal print. We can't have animal print shoes with matching handbag, coat and hat. That's just crazy! You don't want to be shot by some dodgy ranger in a safari suit now do you!

Jamaica, Jamaica.

These shoes are the colour of the Jamaican flag. Big up!

I'm not even going to pretend that I like these shoes. The colours work on a flag, but not on a pair of shoes for some reason. If they were given to me as a gift, I'd sell them on eBay!
