An August Moment

If you remain sincere in your interactions with others, you will naturally come to find yourself surrounded by good friends. If you find yourself surrounded by bad friends and insincere friendships, you need to question yourself.

This is so true. I find myself surrounded by a whole group of negative people and how do I feel? NEGATIVE! It goes to show. These words have given me the thought that I need to let some people go.

Great stuff August. And thank U.

For that very same reason I've been doing a lot of questioning over the past week. I didn't think I was insecure, well maybe I am!

Anonymous, maybe your not insecure. Some of your friends might be though and it's rubbing off on you. Or then again, if u r insecure, theres gotta b a good reason why. My ex husband made me feel insecure and as soon as we separated, well not as soon as, but literally a few months later, I realised that it was him making me feel bad about me.

I now keep in touch with my sister and my good female friends and even some good male friends. None of them want to assisinate my character.

Hi 'laughing Lorna'

I don't think I am insecure but looking around me I have people who are, why am I drawn to them or them to me. But I agree that people around you can influence your opinion of yourself and for that very same reason I have discontinued those people from my life so no more questioning myself about being insecure :-)
